Understanding Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings

The Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings, produced by Amigo, are built with maximum performance and reliability for various industrial applications. These bearings are equipped to accommodate a lot of Radial load because of their full complement of rollers that provide limited load-bearing ability. The materials used to manufacture AMIGO bearings are of high grade. They hence can last in severe conditions and serve efficiently. our Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings are utterly interchangeable with products of such well-known producers as SKF, FAG, and NTN.

Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearing - Designs and Variants

The AMIGOs’ available selection of single-row full-complement cylindrical roller bearings includes NCF and NJG design bearings. Thus, the shaft can be positioned in one axial direction and also adapted to axial movement in the opposite direction with respect to the casing.

  • NCF design bearings: Both the inner and outer rings have two tapered flanges. The outer ring contains a retaining ring that is not present where the integral flange is found to prevent the bearings from separating. The ring is normally fitted on the outer side of the outer covering and has a shelf or a bolt at its extremity. The retaining ring should never be subjected to any axial load while in the working state.
  • NJG design bearings: Incorporate the stout order 23-dimension series. The bearings are designed to take very high loads at very little speed. There are two integrally molded flanges on the outer ring and one on the inner ring.
  • Matched bearings: When it comes to a matched set of bearing components, the vertical heads of excited bearing elements are attached together so that any axial height of vertical bearing cross-section elements differing within one matched set has an extremely narrow range of allowed capacity.

Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings Loads

Equivalent Bearing Loads

The equivalent dynamic bearing load is a critical parameter to determine the bearing's suitability for dynamic conditions. It represents a constant radial load that, if applied to a bearing with a rotating inner ring, would have the same impact on bearing life as the actual loads and rotation.

Minimum Load

Cylindrical roller bearings must be subjected to a minimum radial load to ensure optimal performance and longevity. This minimum load is necessary to prevent slippage between the rollers and the raceways, which can damage the bearing surfaces and reduce operational efficiency.

Dynamic Axial Load Carrying Capacity

Single-row and single-row full complement cylindrical roller bearings with flanges on both the inner and outer rings can support axial loads up to Fa ≤ 0.5 Fr and radial loads.
The lubrication condition, operating temperature, and heat dissipation at the roller end/flange contact determine the axial load-carrying capacity. The formulae below are valid for normal operating conditions:

  • ΔT ≈ 60 °C between the bearing operating and ambient temperature
  • Specific heat loss ≈ 0.5 mW/mm2
  • Viscosity ratio κ ≥ 2
  • Misalignment ≤ 1 minute of arc

Designation System for Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearing

Most skim bearing rolling bearings follow a system of designation according to basic designation features, which may or may not include some prefixes and/or suffixes (Basic bearing designation system). An example and the options for single-row full complement cylindrical roller bearings are below.

Frequently Asked Question

Q: What are Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings?

A: Single-row Full-Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings are a type of roller bearing that has a full complement of cylindrical rollers and can, therefore, accommodate greater radial loads than normal cylindrical roller bearings having cages.

Q: What are the drawbacks of employing Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings?

A: Higher radial load applications will favor these single-row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings, as they have compact designs and better reliability, especially in areas where applied radial loads are limited.

Q: What are the application areas for Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings?

A: They are used in various heavy machines, automotive gearboxes, wind power plants, rolling mills, mining equipment, etc., where a high radial load capacity is needed.

Q: Can Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings Resist Axial Loading?

A: Although these bearings were developed mainly for their radial load capacity, they can accept some axial loading, but this is not the best option in cases where an application involves high axial loads.

Q: Why are single row full complement cylindrical roller bearings referred to as cylindrical roller bearings without cages?

A: The key difference is that full complement bearings do not include a cage, hence allowing for more bearers in the same space. This increases the load handling ability but makes the bearing unsuitable for faster, irrespective of centrifugal force.

Q: How do the Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings function in respect to the needs of maintenance?

A: It is important that the bearings have regular lubrication to minimize wear. Hence, particular fittings should also be periodically checked for wear and/or damage, more so in terms of high load for those applications.

Q: Are Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings reusable with other types of bearings?

A: Yes, a few of these bearings may be multidirectional cross-section Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings of other manufacturers, but their strongest external diameter and horizontal limitations are met.

Q: What other aspects should be considered when choosing Single Row Full Complement Cylindrical Roller Bearings?

A: Some of the detailed factors include the amount of load, the running speeds, the space available, the type of lubrication, and the environmental conditions in which the application will be operated.

Q: What speeds can One Row, Full Compliment Cylindrical Roller Bearings operate?

A: Relatively low to medium speeds are involved since these types of bearings have a full complement of rollers, increasing load capacity but lowering the speed limitations compared to the caged types.

Q: How should the fitting of single-row full-complement cylindrical Roller Bearings be done correctly?

A: Correct orientation, effective cleanliness, and ensuring that the required amount of lubrication is applied and does not exceed that amount are key to effective fitting. The general instructions of the manufacturer of courses in mounting and handling the bearings also have to be complied with.
